The present study talks about the context of the Qur'anic stories in Tafsir Fi Zilal al-Qur'an.

The study attempts to disclose the importance and scientific value of context in the study of the Qur'anic stories.

The study investigated the concept of the Qur'anic context, its kinds, limits and controls in the work of Sayyid Qutub.

It also shows Qutub's commitment to these controls and limits, which is considered as an approach from which he benefited a lot in his work.

The study highlighted the importance of considering the context in the study of the Qur'anic stories.

It also showed Qutub's concerns about how context affected the selection of the story, its order, events and the way in which it was presented in the Qur'an.
