Abstract EN

This study tries to focus on the nature of structural thinking between students of the Faculty of Education, King Faisal University.The study used the descriptive approach because it is appropriate to the nature of the study and its objectives.

The study aimed at describing the nature of structural thinking for students of faulty of Education, king faisal university according to dimensions levels of ,gender differences ,differences between academic specialization ,different grade levels.

The Study was conducted on a sample of (347 ) students of Faculty of Education) , king Faisal university: (161 male),(186female) of students who enrolled in the first semester of the academic year 143-143 and students of preparatory year ,the sample aged 18-23years old.

The study used a scale of " structural thinking " (in short form) prepared by (khalel alhuwaiji, 2011 ) depending on the original form of (Epstein, 1993).

The study concluded that there are significant differences between the means on the dimension of " the holistic thinking structural " for the sample of female students .

The results of hypothesis II revealed that there are significant differences between the means of the dimension of " the holistic thinking structural " for students who are specialized in English and Arabic language" .

The results of hypothesis III showed that there are significant differences between the means of students on the dimensions of structural thinking scale , according to the variable levels of achievements..The results of the fourth hypothesis of the study revealed that there are variations in the degree of contributions of each dimension of study achievement scale.
