Abstract EN

This research aims to identify the effectiveness of the preparatory year at Al-Jouf University in the rehabilitation of students for admission to the university faculties; to measure that, the researcher prepared a questionnaire and distributed to a random sample amounted to (472) students, and consisted of six areas/fields: education and learning, academic guidance, organization, skills development, communication and human relations, and the evaluation.

The results showed that the organizational field took the first level and the communication and human relations fields took the second level, but the evaluation field was ranked in the last level.

The study's results showed statistical significant differences between the averages and standard deviations for the estimates of members of the study sample on the six areas of the study as a whole the impact of the preparatory year at Al-jouf University depending on the different variable (sex) and in favor of males on the tool as a whole, while the researcher found statistically significant differences between the averages and standard deviations for the estimates of members of the study sample on the areas of study, the six fields as a whole have an impact at the preparatory year at Al-jouf University depending on the different variable rate cumulative, where he received members of the study sample who were the GPAs (2.00 - 2.74) ranked first in terms of their responses to the six fields of study when he received members of the study sample who were the germs cumulative (4.50 - 5.00) ranked fourth and the last.
