Abstract EN

The research explores spaces of intertextuality in the novel “Wahat Al- Ghroub” (Sunset Oasis), for Bahaa Taher.

The research stands in the mechanisms and techniques of intertextuality and reveals its central references: historical, mythological, religious, and literary imposed itself on the novelist formation.

Bahaa Taher was inspired in writing this novel by a number of books and studies that were mentioned on the margin of his novel, giving the interested reader an opportunity to compare fact with fiction; and participate with the writer in drawing implications of the scene through the insight of the aesthetics of intersexuality, and its compatibility in the novel.
