Abstract EN
This study is aimed at determining the most effective teaching elements for practical courses in physical education.
It is also aimed at identifying the role of gender, academic level, and general production average (GPA) on determining these elements.
Moreover, it is aimed at identifying the mutual role of gender, academic level, and the GPA on determining the most effective teaching elements.
A questionnaire that contains 47 items represented in five dimensions was used to achieve the aims of the study.
The sample size of this study comprized all the Sophomore, Junior and Senior students in the college of Sport Sciences at Mu’tah University and they were 121 female students and 94 male students.
The results of this study indicate that there was, relatively, an agreement on determining the most effective teaching elements and on the arrangement of these elements in all the dimensions used in this study (content, practice, management, teacher behavior, and motivation).
The study also indicate that the effective teaching elements representing the teacher behavior was considered to be the most important element from the point of view of the sample members.
Moreover, it was concluded that effective teaching has many elements and skills connected with the different dimensions used in this study.
