The most important biological role of vitamin E is its Antioxidant ability that prevents the body from hazards of oxidized material, it’s the vitamin, that prevents the sterility, and strengthen immunity of the body, prevents cancer and reduce the heart diseases.
Vitamin E is used in skin care as an antioxidant, known to scavenge free radicals and slows down the process of aging.
It is also used in medicine to reduce the time require for recovery from medical surgery, recovery from blood anemia, recovery from premature children, and recovery from liver diseases.
Vitamin E is a natural antioxidant; therefore it prevents the oxidation of fats and fatty foods, and keeps the quality of food and increases the shelf life of the products.
