This study aims at investigating the effect of using the 'learning cycle' methodology on the achievement of the first secondary industrial class in the Oxidation and Reduction Unit.

The sample of the study comprised two sections: the experimental group (Electricity and Use), no.

(30), and the controlled group (Radio and Television), (no, 30).

The researchers designed a pre-knowledge test required for learning Oxidation and Reduction.

The results of the study showed that there are no statistical difference (a =0,05) between the two groups: The Oxidation and Reduction Unit was taught to the controlled group in a traditional manner, while the learning cycle methodology was adopted in relation to the experimental group.

At the end of teaching, the researchers designed a questionnaire of (20) items.

The questionnaire was validated; its validity index was (0,71).

The study revealed that there was a statistical difference (a =0,05) between the means of the experimental group and the control group in favor the experimental group.

The researchers also came up with some recommendations and suggestions.
