Abstract EN

Various studies and researchers have emphasized the importance of the maturity level of the Management Information system applications used by the organization.

However, this emphasis doer not reveal the actual role and design of information systems, nor how mature they are in determining the centers of organizational power.

As the level of the information system maturity increases, its role in constructing the organization powers structure, vertically and horizontally, increases likewise.

This research tries to present mental and practical frames based on the studies of authors in the field of Administration, in general, and the Management Information System, in specific.

To achieve this aim, five organizations from the productive sector which employ the Management Information System applications were studied together with a specimen of 60 workers in the three managerial levels (the upper, middle, and lower).
