The objectives of this study are to examine and explain value priorities of public employees at the Karak Govemorate.

The sample consists of 400 employees, of whom the answers of 300 employees were accepted and analyzed.

Table (1) appendix (B) shows the distribution of the sample.

The most important findings include: 1- Males and females in the sample gave the same priorities (5) values, as shown in Table (6).

These values are: loyalty, equality, sense of importance, family security, and the desire of having a good life.

2- Superiors and subordinates rank the following (7) values in the same order: Family security, equality, commitment, loyalty, the sense of important care and trust of management in the ability of employees.

3- Males and females display significant statistical differences in their view's concerning the values of beauty, enjoying work, leaves, incentives, leadership position, respect of time, commitment, and honesty.

4- Superiors showed higher commitment than subordinates towards the values of feeling comfortable at work, justice, objectivity, participation, open door policy, respect of rules and regulations.

This higher commitment is supported by the evidence of significant statistical differences between superiors and subordinates.

5- The findings of the study show that employees in the city are unhappy when compared to other employees in the suburbs.

This can be explained due to the higher living expenses in the city.

6- Finally, the selection of top ten values by males and females, superiors and subordinates, employees in the cities or superiors, is the same, however, ranking of these top ten values differ slightly among these groups, according to the following order:- Family security The desire of having a good life Recognition, The desire to live in peace - Equality Commitment Respect of time - Good work relations Enjoying doing the work Preferring active life
