Abstract EN

The purpose of this study is to determine the cffect of organizational trust and congruence between desired and perceived participation in decision-making when predicting satisfaction.

In order to achieve the objectives of this study, a questionnaire was developed and distributed among the study's population.

One hundred forty members responded, thus, forming a response rate of (44.58) percent.

Following are the most important findings of this study: 1- The level of satisfaction is found to be associated with organizational trust, whereas no relationship is found between satisfaction and the congruence's degree of desired and pcrceived participation in decision-making.

2- There were significant statistical differences between the members' perceptions of the organizational trust.

These differences are related to demographic variables; age and work experience outside the university.

3- There were significant statistical differences between the members’ perceptions of the congruence’s degree of desired and pcrceived participation in decision-making.

These differences are related to demographic variables; sex, administrative work and academic rank.

4- There were significant statistical differences between the members' perceptions of satisfaction These differences are related to demographic variables; age, academic rank, work experience inside the university and work experience outside the university.
