Abstract EN

This research includes eighteen early Arabic inscriptions, which were found in Umm 'Ishrin and al-Khaz'aliy in the region of Wadi Rum.

Given the letters and style, these inscriptions can be dated to the second and third centuries after Hijra.

The study focuses on the documentation of the early Arabic inscriptions in the region of Wadi Rum, and conducts analytical study of these inscriptions, as well as a critical revision of the previous studies of some of these inscriptions.
