Abstract EN

The present study looks into three major questions.

The first question concerns the idea that the oil monopolistic capital is the player that accounts for price increase or at least the player that is not opposed to such increase.

The second revolves around the reasons for the belief the oil monopolistic capital deliberately chose the exclusion of the issue of oil industry from the international economic structures representing the WTO.

The third concerns the link between capital and oil prices as perceived from the perspective of the key industrial currencies.
