Abstract EN

This research deals with the poet/writer Ibrahim bin Syabah in his life and literature: poetry & prose.

He lived in Abased‘s era, he wrote to Al-Mahdi, the “Caliph”, but he was accused of heresy (disbelieving in Islam).

Hence; Al-Mahdi dismissed him out of his court.

Poor, humble, immoral and unlucky man he became.

Despite of that, he was suffering patiently, uncovering the imperfections of who they were in his low rank and giving great respect to others who they were in a higher rank.

His poetry was pleasant, his prose was accurate , his drolleries were graceful, and his meanings were very attractive.

The letter he sent to Yahya bin Barmak, to conciliate him, was memorized by the people of Baghdad for its beauty and attractiveness.

It was claimed that he had a collection of poems “poetry divan”, but it is missing.

To have a good results I adapted the text and analyis methody.
