Abstract EN

This paper deals with the poetic verses which have occurred sparsely in the voluminous dictionary Lisaan al-'Arab.

The author of this paper believes that those verses are suitable for grammatical citation, although the ancient Arab grammarians did not include them within their citations as evidence for grammatical use.

The author undertook the task of collecting all those verses, and classified them according to grammatical themes.

At the end of the paper, the author selects a number of verses and distributes them according to a variety of grammatical themes.

The paper resulted in finding verses which have not been cited by ancient Arab grammarian.

The author chose to arrange those verses according to basic grammatical themes such as: prepositions, vocative structure, coordination and connecting styles, the auxiliary (kaana) and its associates, the oath structure, the 'iraab of simple present verbs, and other verses cited for the use of pronouns.
