Abstract EN

The research aims at bringing to light the effect of privacy on the dowry and iddah.

It deals with the definitions and simplified rules for each of the effect, dowry and iddah, for this part of the research is an introduction to the main theme.

The definition of privacy is elaborately dealt with in language, Islamic laws and according to the Four Scholars of Islamic Jurisprudence so as to know, on the strength of this, the privacy upon which verdicts are based.

Privacy then manifests itself in the ability of the couple to have sexual intercourse, after the correct contract of marriage, in a secure place where nobody can enter to them, irrespective of there being any legal, natural or sensory impediment.

If genuine privacy is realised, then its effect on the dowry is established, that is, it should be given to the wife, and in case of Al-iddah, it becomes obligatory on her part.
