Such important issue was raised and discussed in social and legal circles, specially regarding the results that followed and proceeded from the some consequently I dealt such issue in the form of review and critical study, stating the attitude of Palestinian law, and comparing the some with other laws The research is divided into several aspects : First : stating briefly the historical factor.

Second : the attitude and view of Islamic law, Islamic doctrine canon law (shari’a-fiqh) and the law generally regarding debtor imprisonment Third : debtor imprisonment and the followed results in Palestinian law.

Forth : stating some substitutes suitable to support debtor imprisonment issue, or may be replaced.
