Abstract EN

This study seeks to uncover the inherited literature in the poetry of Nizar Qabbani and delimit its dimensions and role in forming poetic experience.

The present study is divided into three parts.

The first part represents the inherited symbols in association with two fields, the symbols of virtue and the symbols of vice.

The second part handles the poet's knowledge and stayle to find whether they are related with the inherited literature.

The study has found that the inherited literature has logical occurrancehere.

The third part handles the impact of heritage in the formation of poetic rhythm.

the study has been able to uncover some poetic rhythm as a result of borrowing inherited symbols and expression that have contributed to the rhythm of the whole text in which they occur.
