Abstract EN

This is an analytic study of a movement that took place in the region of Nejd-and Hejaz early this century.

It studied "Ibin Rifada's" movement, its causes, its progress and its concequencies.

This revolt has reflected the political, economic, and social situations that the region of Hejaz had witnessed since its occupation by "A1 Sa'aud" in the mid-twenties.

This study, however, shed a light on the relation that existed between the government of Hejaz-Nejed and its Arab neighbouring governments on one side and the mandatory .

This study is considered to be an archival one which is thoroughly depended on the documents that existed in the "Public Record Office".

It consulted almost every correspondence and memorandum that had been exchanged either between the British officials in the Arab-countries and their government in London, or between them and the local authorities in Arab-countries.

It is worth to say that this study depended, as aminor resource, on some local newspapers that were issued at the time of the event
