Abstract EN

The Purpose of this study was to identify the levels of burn-out among computer teachers in Jordan, and the effect of sex, employment status, teaching load, and number of schools the teacher teaches in on these levels of burn-out.

One hundred (100) male and female computer teachers participated in the study, and the Maslach Burn-out Inventory (MBI) was used as a tool.

The results of the study showed that computer teachers in Jordan exhibited a high level of burn-out.

The findings revealed no statistically significant differences in the levels of burn-out which can he attributed to any of the independent variables, or to any 2-way interactions between these variables.

In light of these findings, some recommendations were suggested.
