Abstract EN

Th is research studies one of the salient Arab poets of the sixth and seventh centuries.

The study consists of two parts.

The fist part deals with Al-wast'is life and poetry.

This part shows that this part contributed a lot to the cultural life of his age, and that most of his poems focused on his own affairs, he used clear and easy structures and images.

In the second part, I gathered his poems from different sources and dealt with it in a scientific way.
