The effectiveness of a Resource Room Program in Reducing the Behavioral Problems of Academically Disabled Third and Fourth Female Graders at a Public School in Amman The Purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of a resource room program on third and fourth female graders studying at a public shool in Amman- Jordan.

The sample of (25) third and fourth graders was divided into an experimental group (N=16) and a control group (N=9).

The experimental group received individualized intruction and reinforcement at a resource room, while the control group received normal instruction at regular classes.

MANOVA and MANCOVA were conducted, the data analysis showed that there were significant differences between the experimental group and the control group on the eight dimensions included in the Behavior problems schedule (lack of attention, relationship with others, aggression, rebellion, shame, lack of self- confidence, bad school work,and isolation; this means that the resource room program reduced all the previously mentioned behavioral problems.

Conducting similar research studies are recommended for the future.
