Abstract EN

This study aimed at evaluating Lughatuna AL-Arabiyah textbook for the fourth basic class from teacher's point of view by identifying both the strengths and weakness of the textbookand investigating the teachers ratings of the whole textbook and its domains.

A Final fifty eight items questionnaire was developed by the researcher, covering : technical production, objectives, content, illustrations, and the language .The questionnaire was distributed to the sample of the study formed(147) male /female teachers who teach this textbook in the six southern school districts The findings of the study showed that all the items, domains and whole of the textbook are valuable .

The researcher recommended that attention should be paid to the textbook in the coming editions to increase its strength and effectiveness.
