This study aims to identify the beginnings of specialized press and the extent sports activities have been reflected in it.

The study reveals that the Palestinian had sports Press from an early time, i.e.

during the British mandate period.

It witnessed three levels of press, in the Egyptian and Jordanian era, the press witnessed a marked regression, Then, the sports press during the Israeli occupation returned to its previous condition at the time of British mandate.

Two levels identify the sports press during the PNA period.

The first shows further progress and the second shows regression from their equivalents during the occupation period.

Sports news treatments in ail stages have been superficial and lacking investigations, analyses and critical articles.
