Abstract EN

This study aims at showing the size and characteristics of the phenomenan of juvenile homelessness in Jordan, by studying some variable aspects such as the age of the homeless, education level, gender, birth order among his brothers, the area of residence, the family's economic status and the environment will be discussed as well.

The conclusion of this study indicates that the tendency for homelessness is higher among males than females.

It also indicates that the age period in which the homeless abandon home is 11-16, that scholastic achievement among the homeless is often low, and that most come from poor families who live in overpoulated, and large areas.
