This research deals with the denotations of fundamental terminology as it is used by the fundamentalist theologians in the study of Sharia’ rules.

The research looks into the areas of differences and similarities in fundamental terminology from the point of view of expression and meaning.

It also investigates the causes of the differences and similarities in the various fundamentalist schools.

This reveals the great importance of studying fundamental terminology in the light of the intellectual disagreement among the investigators of this field of scholarship.

This seems evident in the terms which have similar expressions but different meanings.
