Abstract EN

This paper deals with the magical realistic experience in the short emirati story and it is an experience which created a new wave in the narrative literature in this area recently.

This new wave has appeared in the emirati story in the context of the spread of the broad wave of “ modernism” which has started to appear clearly in many of the works of Arab writers and poets since the seventies of this century as a secretion of the sword-manship.

This, in addition to the benefiting of writers of this wave from the thrust of the ancient arabic narrative heritage and their search for new horizons of innovative experience.

The features of the magical reality appear in the emirati story with regard to form in the peculiarity of the event, the character, the image and the language, as it also appear to us with regard to the context in its connection with the reality of local, humanitarian and metaphysical stages.

The paper stopped at the most prominent emirati writers who practised the experience of writing the magical realistic story such as Salma Matr Seif, Abdul Hamid Ahmad, AH AbdulAziz AsSharhan and others.

The paper concluded that the experience of the magical reality in the emirati story was timely to a great extent and it expressed the scope of the development of the concept of literary innovation and its function in the writers of the story in UAE.
