Abstract EN

Ibn Hikkina is a sixth century (Hijra) poet who has received little attention so far, and whose poetry has not been collected before.

This study aims at studying his poetry in terms of its better know the poet.

The study is divided into three sections and an introduction.

Part One deals with various aspects of the poet’s life, Part Two with his poetry both in terms of content and structure, Part Three deals with the sources of his poetry, collecting it, and editing it.
