Abstract EN

This research concentrates on the issue of "Privatization" in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and on the call to transfer some Public serv- ices to the private sector as an essential tool for the upcoming eco- nomic stage.

The study shows in its literature review that the direction to priva- tization is highly increasing and spreading throughout the world.The main reason for this matter is the deficiencies inherent in many public service organizations.

The fields method of this study concentrates on the "Infocus Group Interview” in which a sample is selected from both the private and government sectors.

The objective is to analyze the current status of privatization in Saudi Arabia and specifying some helpful means to implement privatization Program suitable for the local administration environment of Saudi Arabia.

The results show that privatization is becoming a must for Saudi Arabia taking into account the current economic stage and the future changes in the world trade.

The study specifics the methods suitable to implement the notion of privatization in the Saudi adminisrative and economic environment.
