Abstract EN

This paper discusses one of the major syntactic theories in Arabic, The theory of [al-Harf al-Mukhtas, which relates either to nouns or verbs].

The study shows the great influence of this theory on syntactic Structures.

It will also investigate the basis of this theory and its effect on discovering new grammatical rules.

The paper has concluded that this theory contains many defects and can not be generalized.
