Abstract EN

The objective of this study was to identify' problems that face kindergarten teachers in Amman which may be attributed to variables, such as k-g equipment, social status, educational level and teacher experience.

The researchers designed a questionnaire to identify these problems in a sample of 192 kindergarten teachers in Amman.

Analysis of the responses to the questionnaire revealed the following results, listed in descending order: 1.

Lack of clear kindergarten philosphy 69.3 %.

2.

lack of training opportunities 67.7 %.

3.

High expectations of parents which does not coincide to the abilities of childem 59 %.

4.

Long hours of teaching 52.6 %.

5.

Lack of kindergarten educational expertise 52.1 %.

6.

Shortage educational games 51 %.

MANOVA (3x3x3) were calculated.

The results of the study showed that there are significant differences due to k-g equipment, and no significant differences due to teacher experience and educational level.

Significant interaction effects were found for k-g equipment and teacher experience.
