Abstract EN

The purpose of this study was to investigate body structure ( Anthroporncntrie may be measures and body composition ) for first devision football players ansome Arabian clubs in Order to compare those measure with those of other+players on the basis of playing positions also to determine the most important measures for players which could help in selection players and training program.

Total sample of 60 players, 25 Jordanian, 35 non-Jordanian, were selected devision clubs.Several measures were taken included Height, width, circumference, body fat, Age, weight, and height.

The results of this study revealed some significant differences in several measures such as lenght of arm, and thigh between players, Also it was found that there were differences in lenght arid weight factors were also with goalkeepers and mid defender players.

The researcher recommended that more attention should be given for basis of players selection and autlv ropometric and composition measures.

More studies to be done to find out the relation between measures used in this study and other physical and performance measures.
