Abstract EN

It is observed by researchers dealing with Anceint Arabic Dialects that the majority of it still alive and still used still used by the inhabitants of Northern Jordan despite the fact that some of the dialects being used had been already mentioned in litrary books, which touched upon some tribes that never been residents of this same area.

The present article has traced thecsedialeeets in this part of Greater Syria through listining to those who speak the dialedt,; then refered speeches to those related to the tribes through kinship relations.

This research concluded that aspects of dialects still used in the area are related, m one way or another, to specific tribes, contrary to those researchers in the field claiming otherwise.
