Abstract EN

This research aims to discuss a specific trend in Arabic grammar in its early stages, Atrend hinted at by Al-Basriyyen and firmly established by Al-Koufiyyen, that is the governing elment of ”A1-Khilaf' which has been considered as an ideal governing element which affects semantics in general, and meaningful accusative case in particular.

Within this framework, I set out to underline the main concepts that directed the Arabic grammarins when they based their grammar rules.

1 have examined theii views on causality, governing element and parsing, mainly accusative sign, as it is closely related to the issue of "Al-Khilaf" that touches both semantic and syntactic.

I have also pointed out and discussed the main issues that related with this phenomenon and then concluded that "Al-Khilaf’ is agoveming element dictated by the realism of flexibility and actuality of language.

All this indicates that reducing the chances depending on other geverning elements relying on interpretation or implication is possible.
