Abstract EN

McNemar (1947) introduced his well-known test for the equality qf proportions of changed responses.

In this test, reference is made to two-level responses before and after a certain conditioning experience (e.g.

educational, therapeutic, etc.).

with resulting sample available in the form bf a 2x2 table.

: Hamdan, Pinc and Arnold (1965) extended McNemar's test to several independent 2x2 populations.

In ths present paper, McNemar's Problem is considered in the case pf a 2x2x2 population, a situation which arises when wp have, a two-stage conditioning experience.

Thus, two-level responses are observed at each stage of the conditioning experience, with a ; resulting sample in the form bf a 2x2x2 table.

The paper presents the likelihood ratio test for the simultaneous equality of proportions of chtaged responses and a, numer¬ical illustration is also presented.
