Abstract EN

The objective of this research is to participate in fulfilling the essential demands of evaluating the consolidated concrete strength and explaining the acceptance criteria of concrete as a construction material comply with standard specifications.

To verifty tiiis task, the work in this research was accoplished through three stages.

The first stage presents a general review of the most well known methods used in testing consolidated concrete.

The basics, advantages, and limitations of each method are highlighted at this stage.

The second stage includes' the statistical analysis of the lest results, and the application of the suggested'tenth percentile phenomina as an acceptance criteria of in-situ concrete strength.

The third and final stage includes a practical example to demonstrate the suggested method using numerous core tests collected from different projects in Jordan.

It is concluded, that the importance of the structure and the number of tested samples using percentile may have a considerable effect on accepting or rejecting the in-situ concrete as far as its prespecified compressive strength is concerned.
