Abstract EN

The excitation of the vortex-sheet flew by a two-dimensional Dirac source located at the wall is investigated and the receptivity problem is resolved.

An analytical solution to the eigenvalue problem is provided.

Furthermore, an analytical solution to the receptivity problem is derived by means of the Fourier transform, and the inverse Fourier transform.

Three measures of the amplitude are discussed.

Two of these measures depend on the normalization of the eigenfunction while the third takes the growth rate of the distrubance into account
