Abstract EN

Educators seem to become increasingly interested in the research findings in the field of the brain and their promising implications in education.

Consequently there is a rising need for designing and developing objective instruments for measuring lateral asymmetry in man.

The current paper presents three tests for measuring the dominant hand, eye, and foot.

Actual performance is used as a criterion for computing the criterion - referenced validity of the tests.

Content and construct validity are also secured for the tests.

Reliability for each scale is computed by means of test - retest method.

Objective procedures for scoring the tests and for classfying subjects into three dominant groups are also suggested.
