This paper presents a multidimenM'' *ai contingency model of organizational socialization.
A human information processing model based on the competing values approach is presented.
Using this model, new organizational members can develop socialization strategies which may help them in the process of socialization.
Results of analyses show that organizational contingency factors such as time and organizational certainty or uncertainty set limiting conditions on the socialization process
