Abstract EN

The purpose of this study was to identify some of the factors which are related to the students performance during their teaching practice.

In order to achieve this objective, the researcher used the descriptive analysis to study some of the factors that may interfere with the students performance while they are practicing the teaching process and may reduce their efficiency that is required for the teaching practice.

The researcher developed a Questionnaire to identify these factors.

After the validity and reliability of the questionnaire were insured, it was administered to a randomly selected sample of 57 male and 39 female students who are studying in Faculty of Education in Al-Madinah.

Results of this study showed that there are several factors which caused the reduction of the students efficiency of their teaching practice.

These factors are : -shortage of the time required for the teaching practice; -shortage of assisting aids in the schools; - schools administration; - educational preparation; -academic preparation.

Results also showed that there are differences between male and female students in their perceptions about these factors.
