الوكالات الشرعية و دلالاتها القضائية في مدينة القدس : دراسة في ضوء سجل محكمة القدس الشرعية رقم 411 (1331-1337 هـ 1913-1919 م)‎

Abstract EN

This study is based mainly on Jerusalem’s Religious Court Record No.411 (Sijillat al-mahkama al-shariyya); which is designated as the Record of Procurations, during (1331-1337 AH / 1912-1919 AD).

The record contains one hundred and ninety six pages, which included about one hundred and fifty legal Procurations which varied from common, limited, divorce, to inheritance Procurations.

The study revealed the importance of Jerusalem’s Religious Court Records in the twentieth century, as an important source for studying the development of the judicial system in Jerusalem despite of the decline in the role of the judge and reduction of his powers, which resulted from the establishment of the Regular Courts.

The study tackled different topics: a study for the records (literature review), methods of regulating Religious Procurations, articles of Procurations, types of legal Procurations, courts personnel in Jerusalem.
