يسلط البحث الأضواء على منهجية عماد الدين خليل في دراسة التاريخ و تحليله من خلال مؤلفاته و مقالاته التاريخية، لا سيما منهجه في كتابة التاريخ الإسلامي، و المشروع الذي يدعو إليه لأسلمة علم التاريخ (التفسير الإسلامي)، و موقفه من الحركة الاستشراقية، و خطابه النقدي.

Imad Khalil in the study of history and analysis through his writings and historical essays, particularly in the writing of Islamic history , and his islamization of the science of history , Islamic interpretation of history , and his attitude toward orientalism
