This research is an attempt to recognize significant aspects of the history of this ancient Arabian city with its spiritual and civilized heritage like its establishing stages, its conquer by Arab Moslems, and their settlement .Besides ,going into its commanders and its attitudes towards various circumstances and events which it witnessed at that time depending on Al-Tabari historical narratives and other essential sources.
