Abstract EN

This study focuses on an important issue which is about the prisoner’s Juma’ah prayer.

This prayer is so important for every adult Muslim.

This study aimed to illustrate the rule of Juma’ah prayer for the prisoner whether he was jailed as solitary confinement or not.

Also, this study answer some questions such as: is it essential to get the authority’s approval to perform Juma’ah prayer ? Is Juma’ah prayer obligatory for those prisoners who do not know how long they will stay in prison and the distance between his original home and the prison place is considered as prayer reduction (Qasr) ? What is the number of prisoners prayers who should pray Juma’ah prayer ? The study concluded that Juma’ah prayer is obligatory for the prisoner who is in solitary confinement and was giving the permission to pray.

In addition, it is obligatory for those who are within group prisoners when they meet the conditions of Juma’ah prayer such as the number of prayers and being not traveling.

Otherwise, it is not obligatory for them.
