Abstract EN

This study attempts to investigate the efficiency of a suggested program to improve the creative abilities of the hand craft works of the students in the college of fine arts at the University of Alaqssa-Palestine / Gaza.

Here, the researcher used the trail methodology through applying it for a trail group and other conservative one that never comes through it, as the researcher has applied an intertribal and dimensional tests to find out the overall effects that made by the independent variable on the dependent one, also a suggested program has been designed in the field of craft works using the local raw materials, which has been applied on all of the craft works first grade students for the year 2011-2012.

A random group of about 41 who equal about 50 % from the community of the study has been tested, and the study has resulted in the following after it has applied the tow criteria :-The suggested program to improve the creative abilities the students of craft works is effective •The students’ abilities in the creative field are quite high which are (fluency-flexibility- sensitivity-originality) •The program is better when compared to the traditional methodologies.

Recommendations 1-To encourage the students’ creative abilities through rich programs which help them to activate their knowledge and skills abilities 2-Teachers should concentrate on teaching skills strategy and to enable students scientifically for it.

3-To create the appropriate learning atmosphere and to provide all basic equipments for craft works 4-To attempt using the advance technology in recycling factories’ and natural waste to make use of the students’ mental abilities.

5-To offer a chance for the students to express their on views 6-To hold arts exhibitions regularly.
