Abstract EN

This study aims at providing a description of the real management of visual art students, in an attempt to analyze and evaluate the nature of the current training experience and the extent of its reflection on them.

The importance of this study is to highlight the qualitative of field art program, to follow up the actual practice and the basics for application through the collection and analysis of facts, and the use of the descriptive approach tools in both survey and analysis of work and content.

The findings can be briefly summarized in the following: There is a constant increase in absence rate among students who failed to attend field study program, female students in particular, which has partially impacted educational attainment process.

The field study, as set forth in the curriculum, is optional and there is nothing indicating that attendance is a mandatory requirement for all students, or obligating them to develop it systematically through practice.

This is apparent in the current way of follow- up.

Only administrative approval and obtainment of authorization to attend training are not enough to create an appropriate training environment, unless a certain type for a systematic follow-up and quality are specified.

The diversity, shift in philosophies and systems, training programs and attitudes have created a new professional reality that requires teacher to seek experience, show talent, stay abreast of the latest instructional management methods, in addition to strict adherence to quality in the implementation of each prepared program.

In the same context, it requires students to stimulate their minds and have motivation to learn, gain practical experience and engage in discovery, linking their needs and to employ them effectively and efficiently in an active art practice.

Continuous field training for teachers and students in various ways will minimize the pattern of traditional work and teaching style inside classrooms.

Moreover, field study leads us to discover and really understand Sudanese life, learn more about our other parts of Sudan, and instills in us love and loyalty for our homeland.

In the light of the above, I propose that researcher and those interested conduct further studies into the matter by authoring textbooks about the subject matter to address the complementary and detailed aspects.
