Abstract FRE

This study deals with Ibadism as a doctrine in some specific Arabic and Islamic sources, communities, areas, customs and traditions such as the works of the geographers and travelers.

These authors gave much attention to Ibadism in their respective works, perhaps because it attracted their attention on their admiration.

So, they expressed their positive or negative opinions on Ibadism.

In fact, this study concentrates on some aspects of those authors position towards Ibadism
