Aesthetic value undoubtedly varies according to the perception individuals have of beauty.

There are those who argue that beauty is subjective and those who think it can be perceived with objectively, while a third group holds that it is both subjective and objective.

Al- Jahiz deals with the question of beauty - which has engaged philosophers since the ancient Greeks - in a manner that combines and balances both intellectual deduction and Koranic tradition.

He intimates thus that the aesthetic value is at the apex of all the other values, for it has many aspects, a wide scope, and an ability to act as a measuring rod for other values The aesthetic act does not excel only by its form, or only through its content, but with both, simultaneously; for both form and content become an aesthetic finality that all works of beauty, whether material or verbal, should aspire to.
