Abstract EN

The ancient Arabs founded a well developed scientific civilization based on different sorts of knowledge in various fields.

This development was accompanied by an increase in the number of scientific terms reflecting the newfangled concepts in sciences and arts.

As result, it became so necessary to compile Specialized Dictionary which showed clearly the efforts of ancient Arabs in specialized lexicography.

So what are the factors that helped in the appearance of this lexical type in Arab culture, and what are the phases of its formation?
