Abstract EN

The idea came from my specialization in the interpretation of the Holy Quran and its sciences.

This allowed me to recognize the weak and strong points of different interpretation methods which refer to a crisis in terms of several indicators tackled by the study.

This can be seen clearly through the painful reality and neglecting of most Muslims to the Holy Quran.

One may even say that the Muslims are suffering from what the former nations suffered from, that is we became imitators "the illiterate mind" due to the absence of civilization and inability to think of Quran to make use of it in dealing with current incidents, make decisions and understanding the divine laws in order to well employ them.

This problem resulted in inflexible minds that either live in the spirit of the past or deny the favors and virtues of it (the past).

Therefore it is most important to develop Quranic studies so that to be present and attentive among civilizations especially due to the age we are living in, which abounds with a lot of information, competing thoughts and complicated consequences.

Hence we should skip the one-dimensioned view of the of the Holy Quran towards a compound mind that comprehend the message of the Quran according to the contemporary horizons.

This can't be but through new interpretive views that harmonize with the acknowledged interpretive criteria and with the present knowledge facts as well.

With Allah's aid, I want to write my paper entitled "Entrances to Make a Modern Interpretive Mind.

A Critical Inductive Study" We hereby propose several entrances to make a modern interpretive mind like the cultural, methodological, knowledge, aim, reflective and a reading of modern interpretive models.

The importance of the study shows up in finding an entrance to make a modern interpretive mind that is active despite consequences of the past and temptations of the present.

It aims at reproducing this mind, that is re-forming the basic ideas and concepts of this mind.

Layla Muhammad Masud where she mentioned the general and special education of the interpreter.

2.Making an Interpretation Ability.

Dr.

Al Shareef Hatim bin Arif Al Auni wrote an essay entitled "Making an Interpretation Ability" where he put forth a practical plan to make such an ability.

This paper most resembles mine except the fact that I focused on the general framework rather than details of the subject.

Hameeda Al Nafeer particularly his symposiums "Modern Methods of Quranic Study" and "Islamic Sciences, a Crisis of Methods or of Reveelation ?".

4.Recent books and essays of Dr.

Taha Jabir Al Alwani.

Problems of the Study : -Is it possible to make new entrances of a modern interpretive mind ? -How can we deal with the new alien readings of the Quran ? Are they fruitful as a positive incentive of Muslims to wake up ? -What are the modern Quranic studies that relate a present-day Muslim to the Holy Quran ? Are there modern examples ?
