Abstract EN

This study aims to reveal the theories of the linguistic human speech in the efforts and works of Judge Abdul Jabbar Al-Mu'tazily.

The study took his book (Al-Mughny) as a field of the research that reveals his view about the nature of speech.

The study concludes that Speech-as of the Judge- is a real substantial aspect realized by voice, built on the deliverables of the Placement Law (Al-Muwada'ah) and the beneficial capability to give meaning.

Adopting the tracking approach, the Judge rejected the theory of the Internal Speech introduced by the Asha'erah rationalists ; he ascribed his rejection to the unreasonableness of the theory.

The study stressed on the fact that the Judge was entirely impacted by the ideology of his doctrine (Al- E'tizal) to reject the theory of the Internal Speech.

Then, the research revealed the theories of Interpolation "Twallud"and Effectiveness (Al-Fa'eliyah) in Speech.

The Judge believed that Speech is achieved by the combination of all Interpolation, dependency and Collision that the speaker is a "Doer" making impact.

The Judge made every effort to reject the perspective of Fa'eliyah in the Speech Event just as speech (as a doer) stands in the position of the Doer : He believes that speech-under no circumstances-can demonstrate a position for itself.

In all his efforts, the Judge introduced a linguistic view in the Islamic rational that could represent the field and vision of an Arab linguistic thought capable for a global partnership in the whole linguistic scene.
